L. Elizabeth Pugh 89, formerly of Columbus, OH, died at 9:45 p.m. May 1, 2012 at Oaklawn Rehab Center in Louisville, KY. She was born August 11, 1922 in Stockport, OH in Morgan County, the firstborn to the late Fred and Wilda James. She was preceded in death by one sister Mildred Carol Ashcraft of Littleton, Colorado, her husband Carrol Edwin Pugh and brother Fred Kent James of Stockport. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jann Noreen and Phillip H. James of Lousiville KY; three sisters, Elma Marie Schrader of Columbus, OH, Helen Ruth McCurdy of Centerville, OH and Jeannene Muse of Stockport, OH; and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth "Lib" Pugh served for 47 years in personnel for the State of Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. She was a former member of the King Avenue United Methodist Church. For the past ten years she has lived in Louisville, KY at Eden Terrace/Horizon Bay Retirement Center. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Friday May, 4 2012 at the Weir-Arend Funeral Home 4221 N.
