Praying for Sue and family- He sounded like a wonderful man. How blessed you are to have had him in your life. May his legacy be rich and peaceful.

The Jepson family extends it's sincere condolences to the Guzzo family following Dante's passing. Though his wartime experiences remain legendary, his greatest legacy will be known through the family that continues to bear his name. As our family was welcomed into theirs, (our Tim married grandaughter Christy), we immediately felt the presence of a genuine love and respect. Grandpa Guzzo was proud to speak of his military service, but even more so of his family. We are so happy that Dante was able to hold his first great grandchild Ellery on his 90th birthday. We have been blessed to know him and his family. He has set quite an example to follow.

On behalf of the board of directors of the Ohio Military Hall of Fame (www.ohioheroes.org), and Catholic War Veterans Post 1936, I would like to express our condolences to the Guzzo family on the passing of Dante. It has been a pleasure getting to know and spend time with him. He was well-respected in the veterans' community. Dante would love to share his stories with local high school students as well as students at Ohio State. We will never forget him. Godspeed.

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Guzzo's passing through the 507 PIR Association. Although I did not know him, he served with the same unit as my father. My most sincere condolence to his family. Troopers in heaven have welcomed him home. May he rest on peace.

I would like to extend my condolences to the Guzzo family.
I met Dante at Crown Pointe Care center while visiting my mother and mother-in-law. Dante and I had many conversations and i enjoyed his company. I addressed him as the "General" and we saluted each other when we met.
I looked forward to seeing Dante during my many visits to Crown Pointe.
I will miss the "General."

Dante and Louise were treasured friends and neighbors to my family for most of their lives. It is with deep sadness that they have both passed on and both will be sorely missed. With our sadness comes the joy in knowing that they will be re-united in paradise. The peace and serenity of our Lord is now with them.

On behalf of the entire Morrison Family we bid Dante a fond goodbye for now and offer our most sincere condolences to his family.

I was so sorry to hear of Dante's passing. He and I became friends over
the last several years talking about Airborne adventures. He was such a
pleasure to know. He was indeed, one of the Greatest Generation.
